Process Solutions & Equipment, Inc. (PSE) develops and manufactures stainless liquid process systems for the food, dairy, and meat industry and has 28 years of experience within these industries. We currently serve Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota with projects that require stainless food grade construction installation work. PSE also has a sister company, Custom Stainless Enclosures, Inc. (CSE) which is a stainless-steel electrical enclosure manufacturer that manufactures electrical enclosures for extreme electrical washdown areas that are found in the food, dairy, beverage, and meat industries. Position Summary

The welder will cut, weld, and polish stainless steel enclosures per blueprint utilizing a tig welder and hand polishing grinders. This is a full-time position that requires working at least 40 hours/week from Monday through Thursday.

None

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Able to work in a safe manner with minimal supervision.
Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
Plans details of work order procedures and gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
Prepares materials, fit, and weld per blueprints provided.
Grind & polish welds as shown on blueprints.
Monitors the welding process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

Thorough understanding of welders & grinders used in the production of enclosures.
Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints.
Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
Basic understanding of mathematics as it relates to welding assignments.
Self-motivated and able to recognize next steps in projects.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing environment experience.
3 years of welding and polishing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to see details at close range.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
